ARTIST STATEMENT
I use carving and construction techniques to create abstract and metaphorical wood sculptures. I never cease to enjoy feeling a sharp tool cut through a piece of wood leaving a clean form. I feel a kinship to those past and present who pursue this approach to artistic expression.
